Hertha BSC gets Vedad Ibisevic as an offensive coach

The former captain Vedad Ibisevic returns to Hertha BSC. As the Berliner announced on Wednesday, the 36-year-old will now support Chef Coach Pal Dardai as an offensive coach.

Ibisevic scored in 159 competitive games for Hertha from 2015 to 2020 56 goals. He had started the past season for Schalke 04 before the contract was dissolved in December 2020.

Now the Bosnier returns to the capital. "I feel as Herthaner and I'm happy and thankful that I can take this task now," said Ibisevic, who stressed the good talks with Hertha Managing Director Fredi Bobic and Trainer Dardai.

Bobic is convinced according to its own statement that Ibisevic "will help with its experience and qualities as a former topstürmer to make our offensive players in the professional and performance area even better."
