Steam Deep Developed Kits released; Wait
Nearly 2 weeks after the opening of the official requests of Steam Dev-Kit, Valve now prepared and sends Steam Dev-Kits to developers.
On September 2, Valve announced to developers: Fill the form and be sure to read the contract and the direction of the development kit. Development kits supplies are limited, so we will examine the requests via the online form on a case-by-case basis and will ship it as quickly as possible. We can not wait to put all these development kits in your hands, and we would like to have your comments on Steam Deck.
Now, it seems that kits are shipped to the few lucky developers who will receive the last valve device a few months earlier to be tested: All packed and ready for developers! This is one of the limited lots of steam deck development kits proposed today to partners to test their games.
What kind of comments or news can we expect developers? According to the Steam Deck Dev-Kit FAQ, developers are free to publish sequences and images from their game performed on a Steam Deck. The publication of any media of the new Steam user interface or any hardware specification is strictly prohibited. In addition, all developers are not allowed to talk about Steam Deck with the media, which means there are no leaks of performance or problems.
Nevertheless, we can see how different games work on the Steam Deck. It will be interesting to see all performance analyzes based on the videos published by the developers, as well as the way the orders seem to work.
Are you looking forward to seeing how your games will operate on the Steam Deck? Let us know in the comments, or contact us on Twitter or Facebook.
