Horizon Forbidden West is an upcoming action role-playing video game created by Guerrilla Games as well as published by Sony Interactive Home Entertainment. It is set to be launched on 18 February 2022 for the PlayStation 4 and also PlayStation 5. A follow up to Perspective Absolutely no Dawn (2017 ), it includes an open globe in a post-apocalyptic western USA.

Sony will introduce new games for the PlayStation 5 next week as part of the State of Play show.

Except for the announcement that Horizon Forbidden West will appear until next year, Sony remotely remote this year's Gamescom. Now it is also clear why. The Japanese company announced that the next Thursday, September 9, a new issue of the State of Play show is published.

The broadcast starts at 22 o'clock of our time and will take about 40 minutes in which both Sony and various third-party manufacturers will introduce new games that should appear punctually to the Christmas business and beyond. After the show, it continues, because then some games that are announced there will be presented even more detailed.

What is shown exactly is still secret, but Sony has already excluded one thing: there will be no details about the next Virtual Reality Generation.

The State of Play can be tracked live on the official PlayStation channels on YouTube or Twitch.
