Fortnite IO Guard Locations: Where I find Io

Are you trying to find Io Guardians in Fortnite Season 8? One of the new hole card quests for Charlotte requires that players eliminate two IO guards, but many people have difficulty find out where they should turn to this challenge. Io Guards are no longer as numerous as in season 7. You are much more difficult to find in this season, but not impossible to find. Here you will find IO Guards in Fortnite Season 8.

Fortnite Season 8 IO Guards Locations

IO guards can be found at small IO outposts. The big Io satellite stations from the last season are still there, but they seem to be given up for the most part. IO outposts are located near some renamed places.

There are five Io outposts on the island, and here you will find them.

South of Holly Hedges South of Corny Crops Southwest of Misty Meadows North of Dirty Docks Eastern by Pleasant Park

Each of this IO outpost houses a few IO guards, which is just enough for Charlottes. Remember that other players are looking for IO guards and could be empty if they reach him. To guarantee your success in the search, try to fall directly to an outpost at the beginning of a game.

Some players have also reported on luck that they could find IO guards in the new Sideways areas. These areas are marked on the map with an orange circle with a purple outline, and you should be able to see the huge orange domes when you leave the combat bus. Inside you have the chance to find either Sideways monsters or a few IO guards. Io Guards seem very rare in the Sideways zones, so it can take a while until they find them.

The best way to find Io Guardians is to simply visit the IO outposts scattered across the card. There are several quests where IO guards are involved in the active punch cards. So just return to an IO outpost if you ever need to find some.
