A whole series of new Shadow-Pokémon have found their way in Pokemon Go, as the official Pokemon site announced today. This means that new species will have these scary red eyes and the threatening purple fog, and it's up to you to save them in front of Team Go Rocket.

You have the chance to find this Pokémon by challenging Team Rocket Grunts hanging on discolored pokestops. The Pokémon, which received the shadow treatment, are:

• Vulpix
• Nintetales
• Exeggcute
• Exeggoror
• Omanyte
• Omastar
• Missreavus
• Carvanha
• Sharpedo

The Team Go Rocket Leaders may also include Pinsir, Mawile and Beldum. Finally, they can also fight against Giovanni, who has received the legendary Pokémon Raikou in shadow shape. As soon as you have defeated these villains, you have the opportunity to capture the Shadow Pokémon, where you can clean it.

Elsewhere in the world of Pokemon Go, Rhyhorn was selected as Pokemon for the February Community tag. This will take place on February 22nd and will mean a few different things for fans of Spikes Pokemon or just Go Completionists in general.

During the Community Day Events, players have the opportunity to find a shiny rhyhorn that is a brown variation of his usual gray I. If you bring Rhyhorn into the final phase - Rhyperior - you can also get an exclusive attack named Rock Wrecker.

Players also receive 3x Catch Stardust. With regard to the start times for the community day, the day starts at the northern hemisphere at 11 o'clock and ends at 2 o'clock local time. If you are in the southern hemisphere, the game starts at 3 pm local time and ends at 6 pm.

Pokemon Go is now available on the available AppStore and Google Play. It is a free game with in-app purchases.
