Halo Infinite Technical Preview: start time, download, cards, modes and more

The first technical preview of Halo Infinite is almost there, and we have put together all the information you need to know if you want to get the game as soon as possible. This is just a limited test with a small selection of cards, modes and weapons, but it is still the first chance that the public had to play Halo Infinite for himself. Since it is a closed test, you need an invitation to participate. Even if you are not selected, there are many other ways to test Halo Infinite this year. Here you will find everything you need to know about the technical preview of Halo Infinite.

How to sign up for the Halo Infinite Technical Preview

Only Halo Insiders are entitled to the technical preview of Halo Infinite. So you have to sign up if you have not done this yet. Just follow these steps to get started:

  • Visit the Halo Insider page to Halo Waypoint
  • Click on Login
  • Register with your Microsoft account login information
  • Fill out the forms for PC and console flight
  • Wait for you to select for the technical preview

If you have already registered for the Halo Insider program to test earlier games like the Master Chief Collection on the PC, you do not have to log in again. After logging in to the program, you only need to wait for an e-mail for the technical preview. It is not guaranteed that you come in, but keep your inbox in mind, if 343 decides to send a further invitation shaft.

Halo Infinite schedule for the technical preview

The technical preview of Halo Infinite starts on Thursday, July 29 and runs until Monday, the 2nd of August at 10:00 pt / 13: 00 et. There is no official start time for the preview, but 343 will probably switch on the servers sometime after 12 o'clock Pt / 15 o'clock ET.

Matchmaking is enabled throughout the technical preview, but 343 has provided a handful of dedicated scheduled game times to ensure short waiting times. Here is the full schedule for the technical preview of Halo Infinite:

  • Thursday, July 29: The Tech preview is officially live! Go wild, Spartans.
  • Friday, July 30 scheduled seasons: 12-14 pm PT, 19-21 pm PT
  • Saturday, July 31 Planned Seasons: 12-14 pm Pt, 19-21 pm Pt
  • Sunday, August 1 Planned seasons: 12-14 o'clock PT, 19-21 pm Pt
  • Monday, August 2: The technical preview ends at 10:00 pt

Future previews for Halo Infinite will have a much larger extent than this technical preview, and more players are invited to coming events. In the coming months, there will be more opportunities to participate in Halo Infinite Flighting, and there will probably be an open beta before starting.

Available content during the beta

The closed technical test offers players only a small number of cards, modes and weapons for testing. During this beta test, there will be no traditional PVP multiplayer. Bot Slayer is the main mode that is tested during this session and a team of four players against bots starts. Bots are a new feature for the Halo series, so I want to see 343 as they perform in games with real players. During the technical preview, weapons exercises will also be available, which give the players the opportunity to test the Arsenal of Halo Infinite on a private shooting range.

343 has said that there is a small chance that the good old-fashioned social arena slayer is added to the beta test before it ends, but only if you reach your target engagement and test objectives. If it happens, it will most likely be on Sunday evening before the meeting is coming to an end on Monday. There are some well-known problems in terms of slayers, such as: B. matches, which often start as 4v3, but this test is designed to collect data anyway.

Halo infinity is to be published for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S this year.
